Dealing with Difficult Behaviour Part 1

This course is designed for those who deal with challenging behaviour in the workplace.  We look at four different types of behaviour which are easily recognisable in oneself and in others, and then at another four which are all different types of manipulation.

The course will help delegates increase their self-awareness and will encourage them to change their own behaviour in order to change that of others.  It  will also cover the following topics:

  • Developing positive relationships with people at work
  • Adapting your  own behaviour
  • Learning how to put your point across effectively
  • How to recognise when you are being challenging
  • Reading body language

The course is group centred and deals with, in confidence, issues which the group members bring with them.  Role play is used as action often helps clarify the difficulties in a situation.
